Cataract Surgery is an amazing and modern procedure – that only takes a few minutes. Dr. Edward Wade and Dr. Mark Mayo perform cataract surgery through a small incision with no sutures, injections or even an eye patch. Cataract surgery is not painful – we keep our patients comfortable by using IV sedation and numbing eye drops… and our cataract patients are able to return home the same day of surgery. In most cases, our patients are able to see through their eye immediately.
