Diabetes is a common disease in the United States, and diabetic eye disease is one of the most common cause of blindness in the United States. So you’re thinking about having LASIK Eye Correction? GREAT…now go do your homework. The first thing to research is the surgeon. How many LASIK procedures has he/she performed? The second thing is technology (for instance…many surgeons still create their patients flap with the microkeratome (blade) system. Last, but not least is… price (many people put price over surgeon and technology).
