Dr. Edward C. Wade and Dr. Mark L. Mayo are our Houston LASIK Surgeons. Combined, Dr. Wade and Dr. Mayo have performed more than 55,000 successful LASIK procedures. Dr. Wade is considered to be one of the top cataract surgeons in the country and is one of the top 7 ReSTOR surgeons in the country. At Eye Center of Texas you will find a highly trained team of specialists also work in the fields of glaucoma surgery, retina disease and treatment, and other lesser known medical procedures.
We will contribute to the improvement of eye care for all people by promoting the cooperation between optometry and ophthalmology while providing the highest level of care to patients in a compassionate manner.
Co-Management Theory
Eye Center of Texas operates as a secondary and tertiary eye care facility that provides medical and surgical care. A network of exceptionally well trained and highly qualified optometrists clinically manages patient care with our doctors.
