James Holt, O.D.

James Holt received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University in 2006. James earned a Doctorate in Optometry from The Ohio State University, graduating in 2010. He received both Kieffer and Ewalt scholarships for academic achievement and is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society.

After graduation, Dr. Holt moved to Houston and completed a residency in ocular disease at Eye Center of Texas. He now enjoys his work treating a wide variety of ocular disease and post-surgical patients.

Dr. Holt is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Harris County Optometric Society. He speaks Spanish fluently, enjoys playing basketball, watching college football, and relaxing with his family.

With five locations throughout Texas, Eye Center of Texas has built a reputation as a top Houston / Pasadena LASIK practice. Drs. Wade and Mayo use the latest techniques and technologies to deliver excellent vision correction results. They are often visited by Pasadena / Sugarland cataract surgery, PRK and glaucoma patients.
