Evaluating Your Surgeon

Not all cataract surgeons have the same skill level or experience. Patients should evaluate the following before proceeding with cataract surgery:

• What is your cataract surgeon’s safety record?
• What is your cataract surgeon’s enhancement rate?
• How many cataract procedures has your surgeon performed in his/her entire career?
